Our client is a leading multinational organisation based in Melbourne CBD, known for its leadin service offerings and dynamic workplace culture. They are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Accountant to lead key finance functions and manage a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements in line with IFRS and local requirements
  
• Oversee and review daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
  
• Lead and support a small finance team, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and perform key reconciliations
  
• Support internal and external audits
  
• Drive compliance with internal controls and contribute to process improvements
  

Skills & Experience

• CPA/CA qualified with a degree in Accounting or Finance
  
• 8+ years' financial accounting experience, including team supervision
  
• Strong understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting
  
• Proven experience with high volum, complex bank reconciliations and general ledger management
  
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills
