Senior Financial Accountant

• Contract role: 4-6 months (possible extension)
• ASAP Start
• Location: Inner City. Very flexible hybrid working.

Roles and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Month end processes and reporting requirements
  • Booking required journal entries and preparing evidential support
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Intercompany management
  • FBT and BAS requirements
  • Cost centre reporting
  • Review and support team's EOM outputs
• Manage and support accounts payable and accounts receivable and timely delivery of payments and bank reconciliations
• Supervising 2 x offshore AP Officers
• Lots of process improvements and system enhancements

Required:

• Full CA or CPA
• Experience working as Accountant in an in-house role, ideally in retail or e-commerce environment (or similar)
• High volume AP and AR experience
• Proven experience in process / system implementation or improvement (NetSuite experience highly desirable)
• Availability to start ASAP
• Located in Australia with full Australian working rights
