MARS Recruitment is partnering with a well-established and growing professional services firm to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to join their tean.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in supporting a broad portfolio of clients across multiple industries, taking ownership of end-to-end bookkeeping responsibilities while building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and lodgement of BAS / IAS
• End-to-end payroll processing
• Accounts payable & receivable management
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with monthly reporting
• Managing client queries and providing ongoing support
• Maintaining accurate records across cloud-based systems

About You

You are a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper who thrives in a client-facing environment and can manage competing priorities with ease.

You will bring:

• Proven experience in a Bookkeeping or Accounts role
• Strong working knowledge of Xero and/or MYOB
• Experience with data capture tools such as Hubdoc or Dext
• Solid understanding of payroll processes and compliance
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills with a client service mindset
• Current Australian working rights
