You'll manage a portfolio of clients, deliver high quality business services and advisory work, mentor junior accountants and build trusted client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of business and individual clients across a range of industries.
• Prepare and review financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
• Prepare and review income tax returns, BAS, IAS and FBT returns.
• Deliver tax planning and strategic tax advice.
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Build strong, long term client relationships and become a trusted business advisor.
• Analyse financial information and prepare management reports.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional advisory services and improve client outcomes.
• Mentor, coach and review the work of junior accountants.
• Drive process improvements and promote the effective use of technology across the practice.
• Ensure compliance with Australian taxation legislation and accounting standards.

About You

• CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
• 5+ years' public practice accounting experience is essential
• Strong Australian tax and compliance knowledge
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing client relationships
• Xero experience preferred
