An exciting opportunity has become available with a well-regarded financial services business within the life insurance sector. Known for its strong culture, customer-first approach, and high-performing environment, this business is seeking a customer-focused Sales & Service Consultant to join its Sydney-based team on a 12-month fixed-term contract role.

This role will suit someone with strong customer service and sales capability who enjoys speaking with customers, building rapport, and working in a fast-paced environment.

The Opportunity

As part of the Direct Sales & Service team, you will be responsible for supporting customers throughout the life insurance application and servicing process via phone, email, and SMS. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality customer experience while ensuring compliance with service standards.

Please note that this is a phone-based role operating on a rotating roster between 8am-8pm (hybrid arrangements).

Key Responsibilities

• Support customers with life insurance quotes, applications, and policy servicing enquiries
• Assist customers with policy amendments, payments, and general account enquiries
• Conduct customer conversations with a strong focus on service, trust, and customer outcomes
• Process applications and servicing requests accurately and within agreed SLAs
• Work closely with underwriting and internal operational teams
• Maintain compliance with General Advice frameworks and internal procedures
• Contribute ideas around process improvement and customer experience enhancements

About You

• Previous experience within customer service, contact centre, or sales environments
• Exposure to life insurance or broader financial services highly regarded
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and strong administrative capability
• Confident working towards service and sales outcomes
