MARS Recruitment is working with a growing organisation who, due to continued expansion, are seeking a Recoveries Specialist to join their supportive, collaborative and high-performing team based in Brisbane (Hamilton, 4007). This is a full-time permanent opportunity.

This role plays a key part in the business, managing recoveries across a portfolio of claims. It would suit someone with prior experience in claims recoveries, loss adjusting, or property / motor claims, who enjoys stakeholder engagement and negotiation.

The Responsibilities:

• End-to-end management of the recoveries process across a portfolio of claims
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to progress recoveries effectively
• Negotiate the recovery of insured and uninsured claims
• Focus on timely recovery of funds while maximising recovery outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with systems and processes
• Provide ad-hoc administration and support to the wider team as required

Experience & Qualifications:

• 1-2 years' experience in a similar recoveries or claims-related role
• Experience in commercial property and liability claims preferred
• Motor vehicle claims experience desirable but not essential
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent organisational and time management capability
• Strong negotiation skills with clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Knowledge of legal and court processes advantageous
• Intermediate PC skills
