About the role:
MARS are actively recruiting for a Purchasing Officer on behalf of a reputable organisation within the resources sector. In this role, you will provide support for specific customer and supplier needs while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of goods and services, while addressing the specific needs of customers and suppliers

• Managing the receipt and processing of goods and services

• Identifying and implementing improvements in supply chain processes

• Ensuring the application of quality assurance procedures that support maintenance activities

• Ensuring accurate allocation of cost centres and network numbers for all goods and services

• Supporting the Contracts & Procurement Manager as required

What You'll Bring to the Role:

• 3-5 years' experience in a similar transactional purchasing role

• Experience in the resource sector

• Familiarity with computer-based supply systems (preferably SAP)
