The Opportunity:
As a Project Finance Business Partner, you will act as the critical link between Finance and a high-profile capital project, providing commercial insight, governance, and strategic guidance to senior stakeholders.
You'll work closely with program leadership and Finance to ensure strong financial oversight, robust decision-making, and alignment with broader organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between Finance and a major transformation project
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior stakeholders across the program
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes
- Deliver high-quality analysis and insights to support key decisions
- Partner with project teams to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure alignment with finance policies, frameworks, and systems
- Represent Finance in leadership forums and Steering Committees
- Support business case development and investment governance processes
About You:
- CA/CPA qualified with 15+ years' experience in finance business partnering or a similar strategic finance role
- Proven experience supporting large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of project lifecycles, including budgeting and forecasting
- Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders in complex environments
- Track record of delivering meaningful insights to drive decision-making
- Knowledge of financial planning systems, reporting tools, and relevant standards/legislation
