MARS Recruitment is partnering with an ASX-listed company to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer for an initial 3-month contract. This is a good opportunity for someone with solid end-to-end payroll experience who can step into a busy finance team, pick things up quickly and hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end processing of fortnightly and monthly payroll
Manage new starters, terminations, leave, payroll adjustments and employee enquiries
Complete payroll reconciliations, payroll tax, superannuation, PAYG and payroll reporting
Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in line with relevant legislation and awards
Work closely with HR, Finance and operational teams to resolve payroll queries
Assist with general finance administration and reconciliations as required
About You
Previous experience processing end-to-end payroll
Pronto experience is essential
Good understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards, superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment
Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
Available to commit to an initial 3-month contract
