Our client is a well established resources organisation currently investing in a range of operational technology and systems uplift initiatives across multiple operations. They are looking to strengthen their OT capability with an experienced specialist who can support both operational sites and broader technology initiatives across the business.

12 month day rate contract. This position sits between operational site teams and technology functions, helping improve how industrial systems, plant technologies and operational platforms are supported, integrated and enhanced across mining environments. The role will contribute across a variety of initiatives including systems improvement, integration activities, operational support and broader OT uplift work.

This is a practical role requiring someone who understands mining operations and industrial environments, whilst also being comfortable contributing to solution planning, stakeholder engagement and future technology improvements. Some interstate site travel required.

• Support improvement initiatives across operational and industrial technology environments
• Assist with integration and optimisation activities across site based systems and platforms
• Work closely with operational stakeholders and technology teams across multiple mining sites
• Contribute to technical planning, operational uplift and systems enhancement activities
• Support OT related project delivery and ongoing capability improvement initiatives

• Background within mining, industrial, utilities or heavy operational environments with strong exposure to operational technology
• Experience working with industrial systems and platforms such as SCADA, PLCs, FactoryTalk, AVEVA, PI Historian or similar technologies
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work closely with both site operations and technology teams
