MARS Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an iconic WA manufacturing organisation to recruit a Logistics Officer for an immediate start. This role is an urgent requirement to provide cover over December, with a strong possibility of extension and future opportunities within a highly respected employer. Strong administration experience within a purchasing, procurement or supply chain related role would be ideal.

Working within a high-performing logistics team, you will play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. While logistics experience is highly regarded, candidates with strong administration and customer service experience who bring strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are encouraged to apply.
Immediate availability is essential.
Coordinate daily bookings, dispatches and supplier/customer communications
Source and compare freight quotes to ensure efficient and cost-effective outcomes
Support freight movement and deliveries by liaising with internal teams and service providers
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation (shipping, invoicing, reporting, records)
Assist with data entry, reporting, and general administrative tasks
Ensure all activities meet compliance, safety, and quality requirements
Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement or Customer Service
Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); ERP experience advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, flexible, and detail-focused approach
