The Company

A market leading financial services organisation is undertaking further investment across its AML environment, with a focus on process improvement, workflow automation and operational efficiency. Working within an established AML uplift program, this is a targeted piece of work requiring specialist Jira Cloud capability to improve how AML processes are managed, automated and reported across the business.

The Role

This is a short term day rate contract, expected to run for approximately 2 months, and will suit an experienced Jira Cloud specialist who is comfortable taking on a focused piece of work. You will work with the AML team to understand existing manual processes and identify how Jira Cloud can be better configured and leveraged as a workflow and work management platform. The focus will be hands on Jira Cloud configuration, workflow design and automation, with Python, Databricks and Rovo exposure considered valuable additions.

Responsibilities

* Review existing AML processes and provide guidance on how Jira Cloud can improve workflow management and process automation

* Configure new Jira Cloud projects, issue types, workflows and boards to support AML processes

* Design and implement Jira automation to reduce manual activities and improve operational efficiency

* Build Jira Cloud dashboards and reporting for senior leadership and executive stakeholders

* Configure SLA measurement and reporting across different Jira issue types

* Support the use of Rovo and broader Jira automation capabilities where appropriate

* Work alongside existing Python code and Databricks functions where relevant to support automated Jira issue creation

* Provide practical guidance and documentation to support ongoing use of Jira Cloud within the AML environment

Candidate Experience

* Strong hands on Jira Cloud administration experience, including projects, issue types, workflows, boards, dashboards and Jira automation

* Experience using Jira as a workflow and process management platform, ideally within financial services, AML, financial crime, risk, compliance or another regulated enterprise environment

* Strong Jira Cloud capability is the priority, with exposure to Rovo, Python, Databricks or Jira integrations considered highly advantageous
