I'm partnering with a well-established mid-tier accounting and advisory firm to recruit an IT Business Analyst to support a range of business-critical transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, improving processes, and delivering technology-driven solutions within a professional services environment.

They provide a full suite of services across audit, tax, corporate finance, and advisory, and are currently investing heavily in technology and process improvement to support future growth.

About the Role

As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a key role across multiple projects, including HRIS (Dayforce) and Dynamics 365 (finance ERP), working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for understanding business pain points, mapping and improving processes, supporting system integrations, and driving stakeholder engagement across the business. You will also support testing, change initiatives, and play a part in shaping early-stage AI and automation strategies.

This role requires someone who has worked within a professional services or accounting environment and understands the nuances of working with internal stakeholders in that setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements across multiple stakeholders
  * Map current and future state processes, identifying areas for improvement
  * Work closely with business users to understand pain points and translate into technical solutions
  * Support Dynamics 365 (finance ERP) optimisation and HRIS (Dayforce) initiatives
  * Assist with system integrations and ongoing improvements
  * Support testing (UAT), change management, and user adoption
  * Draft communications and support stakeholder engagement
  * Contribute to AI and automation initiatives across the business
  * Build strong relationships across both technical and non-technical teams

What You'll Need

• Experience working as a Business Analyst within a professional services or accounting environment (ESSENTIAL)
  * Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge
  * Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
  * Exposure to Dynamics 365 and/or HRIS platforms (highly desirable)
  * Strong process mapping and business process improvement capability
  * Experience supporting testing, change management, and delivery
  * Interest or exposure to AI and automation initiatives
  * Strong communication skills and a professional, adaptable approach
