A leading corporate advisory firm specialising in M&A deals for top tier clients across Australia. This high-performing team are executing headline grabbing transactions and have a robust pipeline of mandates.

The opportunity

As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting and structuring a wide range of corporate transactions across the entire M&A product range including acquisitions, mergers, joint-ventures, and divestments.

Key responsibilities:

• Building, developing and maintaining complex financial models
• Analysing financial statements - preparing comprehensive financial analysis on clients and industry trends
• Coordinating due diligence processes
• Preparation and presentation of client materials
• Interact and converse effectively with senior stakeholders in the context of deal execution
• Proactively map deal opportunities for clients and develop close relationships

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• 2 - 5 years' experience M&A transaction experience with another Investment Bank and/or Accounting Firm's M&A or Valuations team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver high quality work with precision
• Genuine interest in financial markets and desire for professional development
• Motivation to work as a team player and contribute to a positive team culture
• Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
