Position Overview: Senior Finance Analyst - Group Planning & Reporting

Are you a commercially minded finance professional looking to step into a high-impact role within a leading organisation? We're partnering with a market-leading ASX listed business to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst to join their Group Planning & Reporting function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in enterprise-wide financial planning, reporting, and analysis, while partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.


The Opportunity

As a Group Senior Finance Analyst, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation. You will take ownership of group-level cash flow and regulatory reporting, while contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and external reporting processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Group cash flow reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
  • Own and deliver regulatory reporting requirements at a group level
  • Support the delivery of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term planning cycles
  • Contribute to half-year and full-year reporting, including investor and board-level materials
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across finance and corporate functions
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiencies across reporting and planning activities
  • Support investment governance and risk reporting, including committee deliverables
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting and provide ad hoc financial analysis


About You

  • Degree qualified in Business, Commerce, or Economics
  • CPA or CA qualified (or near completion)
  • 6+ years' experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or similar roles
  • Strong experience across budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Systems-savvy, ideally with SAP or large ERP exposure
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, collaborative, and commercially driven
