MARS Recruitment is partnering with a prominent property investment firm to appoint a Fund Accountant to join them on a 6M FTC.

The successful candidate will bring proven experience in the fund accounting space, strong technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

The Responsibilities:

• Review and approval of monthly NAV packs prepared by the fund administrator.
• Review of annual financial statements.
• Oversight and review of general ledger reconciliations.
• Analysis and approval of monthly unit pricing calculations.
• Review and approval of quarterly BAS returns.
• Review and approval of weekly payment run.
• Liaise with external service providers, including (but not limited to) fund administrators, trustees, tax advisers, external auditors, and legal advisers.

The Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in fund accounting or property investment management.
• CA/CPA/ACCA qualified.
• Experience in financial reporting for investment funds, trusts, and group entities.
• Prior experience with property accounting software (MRI or Yardi) would be highly regarded.
• Strong technical accounting expertise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic, perceptive, and a self-starter who can use their own initiative to complete critical tasks.

• Open to candidates holding Working Holiday Visas who are available immediately.
• 6M FTC with potential to be extended.
• Flexible work from home arrangements.
