FP&A Manager | Property / Construction

Commercial FP&A role in construction & property development. Drive forecasting, reporting & business partnering across projects.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced FP&A Manager to join an established property and construction organisation on a maternity leave contract. The role sits within a high-performing finance team supporting multiple project-based business units across residential and commercial development activity.

This role will suit a hands-on finance professional with strong property and/or construction or experience, who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders and working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver monthly management reporting across multiple business units and development projects
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
  • Partner with project and business leaders to provide commercial insight and decision support
  • Review month-end results, balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure reporting accuracy
  • Support JV reporting, project cost analysis, and new project/entity setup
  • Drive continuous improvement across reporting, processes, and financial systems
  • Support audit, tax, and external reporting requirements as needed
  • Managing a small team of accountants

About You:

  • CA/CPA qualified with 7+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong background in property, construction, or development (essential)
  • Experience across both financial accounting and FP&A / commercial finance
  • Advanced Excel skills essential (including consolidations and reporting)
  • Exposure to large ERP systems and BI tools
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Able to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Shorter notice periods preferred but can wait a 1-month notice
  • Must be able to legally work and commit to a long term contract
