FP&A Analyst – Anaplan Specialist

Listed global leader seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst with strong Anaplan expertise, to drive forecasting, reporting & process optimisation.

MARS are proudly partnering with a listed global organisation to recruit an experienced FP&A Analyst with strong Anaplan expertise. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact financial planning, forecasting, and reporting initiatives across a large-scale, complex business environment.

About the Role:

You will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimising financial models, budgets, and forecasts within Anaplan. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will translate requirements into actionable solutions, deliver insights, and drive improvements in financial processes and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and enhance financial models, forecasts, and budgets in Anaplan.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and identify key drivers.
  • Prepare and present clear, actionable financial reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and deliver Anaplan enhancements.
  • Ensure accurate data integrations between Anaplan and other enterprise systems.
  • Drive process improvement and automation within financial planning workflows.

About You:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree and CA/CPA qualification (or near completion).
  • 3-5 years' experience in a finance analyst or FP&A focused role, from a large company environment.
  • 2+ years Anaplan experience is compulsory - ideally an Anaplan Solution Architect, Level 2+ qualified or model building exposure.
  • Strong stakeholder management, business partnering and financial modelling abilities.
  • Advanced Excel, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and BI tools - Tableau and/or Power BI is advantageous.
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver actionable insights.
