MARS Recruitment has partnered with a dynamic financial services firm seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for a First Mover from audit, offering the opportunity to work closely with the CFO and gain broad exposure across a growing business.

The Responsibilities:

• Prepare and update the daily liquidity report.
• Create and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and amortisations.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly servicer reports (e.g., cash flow reports).
• Produce monthly management reports for senior stakeholders.
• Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Calculate monthly interest payable to investors.
• Prepare holding statements, tax certificates, and related investor documentation.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and accurately code bank entries to the correct general ledger accounts.
• Reconcile monthly inter-company balances.
• Reconcile other balance sheet accounts such as prepayments, leave accruals, and deferred income.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and process monthly depreciation.

The Requirements:

• CA/CPA/ACCA qualified.
• A First or Second Mover from audit or business services (Financial Services audit preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to look for and identify efficiency solutions.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently within tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of PowerBi (highly regarded).

• 1 day from home after probation.
• Only considering Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents at this time.
• Office located near Edgecliff in the Eastern suburbs.
