Mars are working with a growing ASX gold producer here in Perth, WA. This financial accountant role will support end to end financial reporting duties within the group team and have the opportunity to learn more broadly across the business.

The ideal profile will be eager to learn in the role and add to the teams culture day to day. If you have commercial experience within a large private or ASX business that will be an advantage but will also consider anyone with a big4 or mid tier accounting firm background looking to make their first move.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of the quarterly group consolidation and financial statements.
• Assist with ASX quarterly reporting and commentary.
• Preparation of month end activities and reporting.
• Preparation of monthly group re-charges to operational subsidiaries.
• Statutory audit support and preparation of technical accounting papers.
• Assist finance team with ad hoc reports and analysis.

Experience:

• CA/CPA qualification is a must have.
• Degree within finance or commerce.
• Exposure to technical accounting or financial consolidation an advantage.
• Willingness to help across the team as required.
• Exceptional communication skills to work with a range of stakeholders.
