MARS Recruitment is partnering with a prominent financial services business to recruit a Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a fantastic opportunity for a first mover from business services or audit looking to make the transition into industry. You'll be joining a dynamic and growing organisation, playing a key role in financial reporting, month-end processes, and driving ongoing improvements across the finance function.

The Responsibilities:

• Manage daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes.
• Prepare statutory and regulatory reports in line with compliance requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers and key stakeholders on all finance-related matters.
• Enter invoices and prepare reconciliations as part of the accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Assist with bank statement reconciliations, promptly investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Support the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate transaction recording.

The Requirements:

• Open to part CA/CPA qualified candidates.
• A First Mover from Audit or Business Services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to look for and identify efficiency solutions.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently within tight deadlines.
