MARS Recruitment is partnering with a reputable financial services organisation to recruit a driven and experienced Finance Manager to join their high-performing financial control team on a permanent basis. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven finance professional to lead the financial control function and contribute to the ongoing success of a high-growth, award-winning financial services business.

The Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of end-to-end financial control for the Financial Services team.
• Oversee financial control activities across a diverse product suite.
• Manage balance sheet and profit & loss responsibilities.
• Perform month-end General Ledger close processes.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting
• Maintain and monitor key financial controls and apply critical accounting judgements.
• Provide technical accounting guidance for new business initiatives, including product launches and feature enhancements.
• Implement and oversee the financial control framework to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team to drive continuous improvement and contribute to business outcomes.

The Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting with CA or CPA accreditation.
• Proven experience in a financial control role.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Prior experience in the financial services sector.
• Technical accounting expertise and/or experience working within a large, operationally complex environment will be highly valued.
