MARS Recruitment is partnering with an ASX-listed financial services organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner for their FP&A team on a temporary a contract.

The Finance Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, turning complex financial data into clear insights that drive performance. The role provides commercial guidance, supports strategic decision-making, and ensures financial strategies align with business goals.

The Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain financial records, ensuring compliance with audit and reporting standards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning by compiling, analysing, and presenting financial data.
• Conduct financial and cost-benefit analysis, providing insights to support decision-making.
• Partner with business units and stakeholders to gather data, understand operational needs, and deliver relevant reporting.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
• Track and report on project/program benefits, identifying risks and supporting benefits realisation.
• Implement cost management processes, monitor variances, analyse trends, and recommend corrective actions.

The Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in a commercial finance role, within financial services.
• Experience in people management is advantageous.
• Effective communication skills paired with commercial acumen.
