Position Title: Finance Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis)
Location: Melbourne CBD
Contract: Initial 3-Month Contract

The Opportunity
Our client, a large multinational organisation, is seeking a commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join their high-performing finance team on an initial 3-month contract with a view to be made permanent. This role will play a key part in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities across the business during a critical period.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly management reports and variance analysis
  
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with key stakeholders across the business
  
• Provide insightful analysis on financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
  
• Partner with operational teams to drive cost control and improve financial outcomes
  
• Assist with financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within FP&A processes and reporting
  
• Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements as needed
  

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in an FP&A, commercial finance, or management accounting role
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data
  
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling
  
• Experience working within large, complex organisations (multinational experience highly regarded)
  
• Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering capabilities
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  
• Immediately available or able to start at short notice
