An established financial services business is looking for an experienced Corporate Credit Analyst to join its credit team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong asset or equipment finance background who enjoys balancing commercial outcomes with sound credit risk decisions.

You'll work closely with customers, vendors, dealers, brokers and internal stakeholders, assessing new and existing credit applications and providing recommendations across a range of commercial sectors.

Role & key responsibilities

• Assess and structure credit applications across asset and equipment finance portfolios.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, modelling and risk assessments across new and existing customers.
• Review the financial, asset, security, legal and contractual risks associated with each transaction.
• Prepare clear and commercially sound credit submissions and recommendations for senior credit authorities.
• Work closely with sales, account management, legal, risk and operations teams to support effective credit decisions.
• Assess and manage credit relationships across vendor, dealer and broker channels.
• Monitor customer and counterparty risk profiles and contribute to ongoing portfolio reviews.
• Support the development and improvement of credit policies, processes and risk frameworks.
• Provide credit guidance and support to stakeholders across the wider business.

You'll ideally bring

• 5+ years' experience within asset, equipment or commercial finance.
• Experience managing or assessing larger commercial exposures, ideally $500k+.
• Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills.
• Experience working with vendor, dealer or broker-based finance models.
• Strong understanding of PPSR, security documentation and lending structures.
• The ability to write clear, concise and commercially focused credit submissions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to challenge and negotiate where required.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
