Client Services Specialist

Client Services Specialist job opportunity with a global Investment Banking and Financial Services business based in Melbourne CBD

Position summary:

Our client, a global Investment Banking and Financial Services organisation is seeking a Client Services Specialist to join their business on an initial 12-month contract. The focus of the role is to answer client requests and manage interactions to resolve client needs. This role is responsible for delivering a high quality of service to existing and new Investor clients and supporting their global Client Coverage team in managing internal marketing campaigns and administrative tasks.


Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct Pooled and Mandate reporting for existing Institutional Clients
  • Facilitate ad hoc client reporting requests (commentary, holdings), alongside requests from Client Coverage team members
  • Support internal and Know-Your-Customer reporting requests
  • Identify ways to improve the efficiency of the production process and quality and timeliness of information provided to clients
  • Ensures the completion of deliverables for assigned tasks as needed to support the team's daily objectives and oversight activities.
  • Support Client Coverage team in creating marketing campaigns, product/strategy performance and overview mailouts and research mailouts.
  • Documents client and team feedback in support of service improvement efforts within the business.
  • Recognizes opportunities and recommends process improvements to gain efficiencies and ensure quality.
  • Uses a consultative approach to position products and services to clients.
  • Develops and maintains proficient knowledge of DWS funds, products, and services. Understands the overall Financial Services industry and related legal, tax, and regulatory KYC issues to guide clients.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience preferable
  • 1-2 years previous experience in client reporting or client services role preferable
  • Some knowledge of SalesForce (or equivalent client management tools) and/or ability to learn the functionality of such tools quickly preferable
  • Strong customer focus, organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and take initiative where necessary
  • Sound analytical skills with willingness to develop technical skills over time
  • Demonstrated client first mentality, ensuring outcomes are met to deliver top tier service to all clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, ambiguous environment working with multiple business partners and diverse responsibilities.
Salary
Up to AU$300 per day + + Super
