Business Implementation Project Manager

Set up and implement systems for a growing retail and consumer goods brand – hybrid – GC – Contract PM role in a DTC/E-commerce mode

Build the systems and operational foundations of an exciting growing brand.

We're looking for an experienced Business Implementation Project Manager to lead the implementation of key business systems, production processes and operational infrastructure for a growing retail and consumer goods brand based on the Gold Coast.

Working closely with the founders you'll play a pivotal role in establishing the systems, processes and operational capabilities needed to support production, inventory management, fulfilment and future business growth.

This is a hands-on, project-based contract opportunity for someone who enjoys turning business requirements into practical solutions, coordinating multiple stakeholders and delivering projects from planning through to implementation and handover.

If you have experience implementing ERP systems, improving manufacturing or supply chain processes, and building operational infrastructure within a fast-moving business, this is an opportunity to make a tangible impact.

The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of several interconnected implementation workstreams, ensuring the right systems, processes and infrastructure are in place to support the business as it grows.

Working closely with the Founders , external technology providers, manufacturers, suppliers and other stakeholders, you'll bring structure, visibility and accountability to the implementation process.

Your focus will be on delivering practical, fit-for-purpose solutions that work together seamlessly and can scale with the business.

Production Tracking & Manufacturing Visibility

  • Develop and implement production tracking processes that provide clear visibility across the manufacturing lifecycle
  • Establish reporting for production status, quantities, lead times, milestones, delays and delivery commitments

About You

You're a commercially minded project manager who combines strong project delivery skills with a practical understanding of business systems, supply chains and operational processes.

You're comfortable working in a start-up environment where priorities can evolve, resources may be lean and you need to take ownership rather than simply coordinate from the sidelines.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering ERP implementations or major business systems projects.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, risk management and stakeholder coordination
  • Experience implementing production tracking, workflow management or operational reporting solutions
  • The ability to translate business requirements into clear system specifications and practical processes
  • Experience coordinating external suppliers, technology providers and implementation partners
  • Strong process mapping, testing, documentation and change management capabilities
  • Confidence working directly with founders and senior decision-makers
  • A hands-on, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, wholesale, product development or supply chain environments will be highly regarded. Exposure in a DTC/e-commerce business model also well regarded.
