Our client is a well-established professional services firm seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their collaborative bookkeeping team. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse client portfolio in a role that offers variety, flexibility, and ongoing professional development.

You'll manage your own client portfolio while working closely with accountants and advisors to deliver high-quality bookkeeping services. The role suits someone who enjoys building client relationships, working across different industries, and taking ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
• Payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations
• Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS and other ATO obligations
• Preparing monthly management reports
• Setting up and maintaining client accounting files
• Assisting clients with Xero, MYOB and other cloud-based accounting systems
• Acting as the primary bookkeeping contact for your clients and working closely with the broader accounting team

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

• Previous bookkeeping experience within an accounting practice or bookkeeping firm
• Experience managing multiple client entities
• Strong reconciliation skills through to Trial Balance
• Experience using Xero, MYOB and other cloud-based accounting software
• Cert IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (preferred)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A professional, client-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities
