Associate Director of Group Treasury

Great opportunity for a driven Treasury professional, that holds strong experience with securitisation in a Financial Services industry.

MARS Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent financial services firm in search of a talented and strategic Associate Director to join their Group Treasury team and contribute to shaping the company's financial future.

As the Associate Director of Group Treasury, you will be responsible for executing the Group's funding strategy, developing debt capital market products and instruments, sourcing capital and funding, and managing institutional investor relations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in securitisation, with a comprehensive understanding of structuring, documentation, and overall deal execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape and deliver the Group's funding strategy across diverse asset classes, supporting long-term growth and financial strength.
  • Lead the structuring and execution of wholesale funding initiatives, including warehouse facilities, term securitisations, and alternative funding arrangements across the Group's mortgage portfolio.
  • Stay ahead of developments in global debt capital markets, with deep expertise in structuring innovative products and accessing evolving sources of capital.
  • Drive commercially impactful outcomes by sourcing capital and funding solutions that enhance the Group's financial performance and funding efficiency.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with institutional investors and market advisors, expanding investor reach and deepening participation in securitisation transactions.
  • Oversee and strengthen key banking relationships to support the Group's liquidity and capital objectives.
  • Manage interactions with credit rating agencies, ensuring effective communication of the Group's credit story and capital market positioning.


About You:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in a securitisation role.
  • FINSIA, AFMA, or other relevant industry qualifications.
  • In-depth understanding of structuring, documentation, and general deal execution.
  • Extensive knowledge of the banking and financial services sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and banking principles, ASIC regulations, and compliance requirements associated with securitisation.
