About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the Finance Manager and CFO with day-to-day accounting functions across both Australian and international operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong bookkeeping or accounts background who is looking to broaden their skills in a dynamic and growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable including supplier invoice processing, reconciliation, and international payments.
• Handle Accounts Receivable, focusing on end-of-month reconciliations and claim resolution.
• Process payroll, including superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports such as profit & loss, balance sheets, variance, BAS, and performance reports.
• Assist with data entry, reconciliations, banking, and statutory compliance.

About You

• Minimum 2 years' experience in bookkeeping, accounts, or assistant accounting roles.
• Practical experience with MYOB (Advanced ERP preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional and team-oriented approach.
• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, Accounting qualification, or equivalent experience is highly regarded.
