A leading name in the mining services sector is on the lookout for a proactive Assistant Accountant to join their operations finance team based in Perth. This vacancy has come up due to an internal secondment, offering a stable, full-time role in a growing part of the business.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Daily transactional accounting and reporting
• Customer invoicing and AR management
• Posting leases and resolving transactional issues
• Inter-company reconciliations
• Balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
• Assist with audit preparation (half-year and year-end)
• Monitor shared AR inbox and follow up as needed

What You'll Need:

• Previous experience in an assistant accountant or similar role
• Confident handling reconciliations and general ledger work
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously within a busy operations team
• Experience in mining or heavy industry is a plus, but not essential
