AR Officer

Looking for an experienced AR Officer for a 6-month leave cover. Flexible hours on offer to suit your commitments outside of work. Immediate start.

The Role:

  • AR Officer
  • Part-time 3 days / week
  • 6-month contract
  • Inner suburbs of Melbourne
  • Immediate start


Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocation of debtor receipts, customer credits, discounts and rebates
  • Confirm payment receipts as requested by customers.
  • Effective follow up of overdue payments
  • Ensure all payments, credits and queries are reconciled
  • Process credit card payments
  • Check credit applications for completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain relevant customer database information
  • Check requests for credits to ensure pricing is correct
  • Process refunds
  • Reconcile the Debtor's Ledger to the General Ledger
  • Follow up and action customer queries
  • Prepare Credit Hold and Overdue reports


Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word & Outlook) and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work to strict daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
  • Previous AR experience ideally in a stand-alone role
