MARS Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Officer to join a busy finance team in Perth. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work and is comfortable managing both customer relationships and credit-related responsibilities.

You'll play a key role across the accounts receivable function, with responsibility for collections, reconciliations, credit assessments, customer accounts and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The role will include:

• Manage end-to-end accounts receivable and collections
• Allocate daily banking and receipt credit card payments
• Reconcile debtor accounts and prepare weekly debt reports
• Negotiate payment plans and manage overdue accounts
• Assess credit applications, credit limits and order releases
• Complete credit checks and maintain accurate customer master data
• Resolve customer account and payment queries
• Liaise with liquidators, administrators, and bankruptcy trustees
• Manage external debt collection agencies and third parties
• Manage PPSR requirements and initiate legal action where required
• Work towards monthly DSO targets and support month-end processes

About you:

• Previous experience in a Senior Accounts Receivable or Credit role
• Strong end-to-end accounts receivable and collections experience
• Confident managing customer relationships and payment discussions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
• Enjoys a busy environment with variety and challenge
• Strong work ethic with a genuine customer service focus

Systems experience:

Experience with Titan, Ariba, Coupa, Equifax, CreditorWatch or similar systems will be advantageous.
