MARS Recruitment is partnering with a leading Australian organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Leader for a hands-on, people-focused role.
This opportunity will suit an AR professional who enjoys leading from the front, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Key responsibilities:
Leading, coaching and developing a small Accounts Receivable team
Managing end-to-end AR operations including billing, cash allocation, reconciliations, and adjustments
Ensuring invoices are raised accurately and on time in line with customer and master data policies
Maintaining strong customer account management and data integrity
Monitoring debtor performance and proactively identifying risks or issues
Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries efficiently
Driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy
About You
You'll bring strong AR expertise combined with a collaborative leadership style.
To be successful, you'll have:
Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or a broader finance role
Exposure to team leadership, supervision, or mentoring
Strong end-to-end AR knowledge including billing, reconciliations, and customer account management
Confidence handling complex billing issues while maintaining compliance and controls
Solid understanding of accounting principles and audit requirements
Experience working with ERP and financial systems
