MARS are proudly partnering with an established organisation that's seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join its finance team on a permanent basis, to start ASAP!

Based in Sydney CBD, this role offers a collaborative team environment, hybrid working arrangements, and the opportunity to contribute to a highly regarded organisation delivering essential services within its industry.

This position is ideal for an accounts receivable professional who enjoys working in a structured environment, takes pride in accuracy, and values stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and allocate cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain and monitor aged debtor reporting
• Coordinate debt collection activities alongside internal business units
• Liaise with customers and stakeholders to resolve account queries
• Ensure accounts receivable records remain accurate and up to date
• Support continuous improvement within AR processes and reporting

About You

• 3-5 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable position
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Intermediate Excel skills and confidence using MS Office
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or SAP Ariba (advantageous)
