About the Company

Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturing business with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team and play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of supplier payments.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable function, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to maintain accurate financial records and support the smooth operation of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and goods receipts.
  • Manage supplier statement reconciliations and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs.
  • Maintain supplier master data within Pronto ERP.
  • Respond to supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with month-end accounts payable reconciliations and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GST requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production teams to resolve invoice and purchasing issues.
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable position within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment.
  • Essential: Demonstrated experience using Pronto ERP.
  • Strong understanding of the full accounts payable process.
  • Excellent reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Up to AU$40 per hour + Super
