About the Role

MARS Recruitment is partnering with a leading national organisation to recruit a motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, brings a positive and infectious personality, and enjoys leading transformation initiatives.

You'll be reporting directly to the General Manager of Finance, taking ownership of the accounts payable function and driving improvements across systems, processes, and team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing AP team in a large, complex finance environment.
• Oversee daily operations including invoice processing, payments, and vendor management.
• Drive implementation and transformation projects, improving systems and workflows.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Support month-end close, reporting, and audit activities.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with large ERP systems and managing high-volume transactions.
• Is confident leading teams and influencing change.
• Brings a collaborative, energetic approach to leadership.
• Has strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Is comfortable reporting into senior finance leadership.

Formal qualifications in finance or accounting are a bonus, but not essential.
