About the Role
Manage and support two experienced accountants, providing guidance and mentorship across their work.
Be directly responsible for the financials of two aged care facilities, with exposure to a complex structure of multiple stakeholders across facilities, directors, and operational managers.
Take ownership of P&L review, month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, quarterly and yearly reporting, and assist with audit requests.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and financial analysis, helping the business navigate growth and expansion plans.
Drive process improvements, including automation of manual tasks and better consolidation across multiple Xero instances.
What You'll Bring
CA or CPA qualification
Strong technical accounting skills, with the ability to interpret legislation and compliance requirements in the aged care sector.
Ability to tell the financial story, not just report the numbers, and provide finance business partnering to support operational decisions.
Previous experience managing a small team or mentoring accountants.
