Occupational Therapist

I am currently working with a client that is a small Not for Profit organization based in the Mornington Peninsula and they have a very close knit team that they are looking to expand on. The team is very friendly, hard working, passionate about children and supportive and they are looking for someone with the same mind set to join their team. They have a great culture going there and having someone that fits into that is very important.

The wider Allied Health team consists of 11 Occupational Therapist’s, Speech Pathologist’s, Early Educators, Psychologist’s, Dietician, Music Therapist and Allied Health assistants.

About the Role:

** Working with children aged 0-12 with additional needs, delays and disabilities and their families providing intervention and on going therapy plans.
** Group and individual therapy
** Be involved in the groups that are currently run for schools and within the clinic
** Split role between clinic and community based – child cares, schools and the homes of clients.
** Based in Mornington – community work will be in the surrounding areas

** 63K – 91K + super depending on experience

About You:

** Passionate about working with young children and their families
** Great organization and time management skills
** Some experience working with young children desirable, but this is not essential – Support from Senior Occupational Therapist’s is available
** Registration with AHPRA

** Tiertary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
** Working with Children’s check – or willingness to obtain
** Driving license and access to a reliable vehicle
