Senior Product Manager

My client delivers a broad range of financial services and solutions to a variety of different Australian businesses. You’ll be the first person in the Product team, giving you huge amounts of opportunity and scope to implement new ideas and grow the role further, they have huge digital platform plans and you will help to lead the new platforming for the business.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Taking the product from strategy, through to initial idea, implementation, support through to continuous improvement
  • Ensuring that when a solution is devised and implemented, that it not only solves the customer or internal need, but that it conforms to the long term strategic vision of the organisation
  • Vicious prioritisation: via internal stakeholder management, expectation setting of what we will not be doing due to resourcing, time constraints or strategic direction
  • An understanding of how technology works (data, systems interfaces, APIs, infrastructure, etc)
  • With this understanding, liaising with the technology team to ensure that architectural decisions they make support your long-term product strategy
  • Assessing and recommending third party vendors who either improve internal processes and procedures, or assist in delivery of new internal / client facing solutions
  • Tracking a record of success working collaboratively across all areas of the business in an agile environment delivering on design, definition, documentation and implementation of products and features, business infrastructure/processes and data structures
  • Ability to methodically through data, assess, evaluate, and compare the value of a solution against alternatives
  • Understands the levers of revenue/cost/margin/profit
  • Participate in sprint reviews, daily scrums, and other Agile processes
  • Focused on quality and has built in QA controls/cross checking before reports are issued
  • Facilitate design/workshop sessions to translate and refine high-level business requirements into technical requirements
  • Assist in either guiding or documenting product requirements and important product development decisions to ensure consensus across stakeholders & the development team.
  • Working with members of the leadership team to develop processes and procedures to ensure staff and clients understand product value.
  • Structure robust acceptance and usability testing and provide feedback, sometimes getting personally involved in this testing
  • Documenting, monitoring, and revising the following artifacts in support of delivery: product requirements, process maps, use cases, user acceptance test plans, business models, data models and flows, project plans, and release notes

To be considered for the role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a business, Product or Technology
  • 5+ years in an agile environment
  • 5+ years Product experience
  • Extensive experience with developing and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Experience with business to business lending preferred; exposure to a business to business environment required
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Familiarity with acceptance, regression, and A/B testing methodology
  • Ability to analyse quantitative data to pinpoint problems and opportunities
  • An understanding of SQL, Table Structures, APIs and Databases
  • A methodical approach to problem solving, and well-practiced toolkit of methods to apply to get to root causes and find the best solutions
  • Customer centric product design, development, and delivery
  • Ability to get things done, either autonomously or within a team, depending on the circumstances

  • Setting up promotion codes and subscription plans for promotions
  • Producing landing pages to promote marketing offers and advertising campaigns. Campaign content to be available for all channels including emails, social, paid media etc
  • Liaising with developers, designers, copywriters, external stakeholders and clients to produce high quality content
  • Ensuring SEO is published for each page

To be successful:

  • Experienced graphic designer/content producer with advanced editing skills
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Solid understanding of social and online platforms, culture and trends
  • Demonstrated expertise in producing a range of creative content, end-to-end, in a timely manner
  • Comfort with an always on test-and-learn approach to experimenting with multiple creative styles, versions and formats
  • BSc in Marketing, Videography, Graphic design or related field
  • 3 – 5 years of web and/or digital content experience
  • Experience with Umbraco or similar Content Management Systems and web publishing
  • Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience in Canva and Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, Premier Pro & Indesign)
  • Experience working in the health, nutrition or wellbeing industry
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

MARS are partnering with a global Construction company that are looking to hire an FP&A Analyst to join their growing team. It offers the opportunity to join a high performing environment and gain experience in a fast-paced reporting and analysis role with exposure to budgeting and forecasting.

The Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for management and BI reporting for local, external and Group stakeholders
  • Perform business analysis and reporting tasks by collecting and analysing data from various sources
  • Support the regular month end, forecasting, annual budget, and audit processes
  • Develop and maintain management templates/reports in Excel (using TM1), Power BI
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with all key divisional stakeholders
  • Ensure documentation in relation to management reporting processes is up to date

The Requirements:

  • Degree educated with a CA or CPA qualification
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar function, ideally from a Construction background (or similar)
  • Strong technical accounting skills across balance sheets, P&L, cashflow and reporting

My client, a leading Australian fintech is seeking a Graphic/Digital/Web Designer to support the Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for web and brand design, graphic design and spearheading a few exciting projects.

This role is varied and perfectly suited to a freelance, hands-on individual who relishes multi-tasking in a high-paced environment. The role is suited to a motivated self-starter who is flexible yet detail-oriented, is passionate about graphic design and is comfortable in all aspects of front end digital work. This role is based in North Sydney.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Working closely together with our Graphic Design Lead.
  • Ability to interpret our brand guidelines and briefs and turn them into visually appealing creative
  • Assisting in the creation, design and production of eDM campaigns, digital ads and banners for social media, marketing collateral and campaigns, including multimedia
