Lorna founded MARS with a clear vision to combine her commercial acumen with a natural ability to build strong, lasting relationships. Drawing on her success within global recruitment firms, she has been instrumental in shaping MARS into the business it is today.

A respected leader in her field, Lorna is known for her down-to-earth approach and her commitment to understanding the evolving needs of the market. Her ability to translate these insights into strategy has played a pivotal role in defining the company’s direction and continued success.

Under her leadership, MARS has attracted high-calibre talent and experienced sustained growth, strengthening its reputation as a trusted and forward-thinking recruitment partner.

Alongside Lorna, Marcus co-founded MARS with a clear vision: to build a forward-thinking recruitment agency grounded in long-term relationships, repeat business, and consistently high service standards. As Owner and Director, he brings more than 25 years of recruitment experience across both the UK and Australia.

Marcus holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland and began his recruitment career in London before relocating to Australia. He has since spent over two decades embedded in the Sydney market, developing a strong network and a deep understanding of the local landscape.

His track record is built on a genuine commitment to relationship management, commercial insight, and delivering results for clients and candidates alike. These principles continue to shape the way MARS operates and have been fundamental to the company’s growth and reputation.

Outside of work, Marcus is a committed advocate for sustainable living and animal welfare, and a proud owner of Bongo, his English Staffy.

Dean is a proud Melbournian, devoted Carlton supporter, and co-founder of our Melbourne office. A graduate of RMIT University with a Bachelor of Social Science, he has almost 20 years of experience recruiting across accounting, finance, and executive-level roles in the Melbourne market.

Dean is driven by a philosophy that every client, regardless of size or turnover, deserves exceptional service. He takes a highly personalised approach to recruitment, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet each client’s unique needs and strategic goals.

Under Dean’s leadership, the Melbourne office has grown into a high-performing team that shares his vision: Aligning Talent with Opportunity. His dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to quality service have been central to the office’s ongoing success.

Alli has been with MARS since its inception in 2008 and has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of our Perth office as Director. She also specialises in Accounting and Finance recruitment within the commercial sector, delivering strategic hiring solutions that consistently meet client objectives.

A Perth local, Alli holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia. She gained valuable international experience during her time working in the UK before returning home to focus on building high-performing teams and facilitating successful recruitment outcomes in her local market.

In addition to her professional achievements, Alli has balanced a rewarding career with raising her family. Outside of work, she is passionate about competitive sports and is a devoted supporter of the Eagles.

Luke embodies the values and ethos of MARS and has been a cornerstone of our Melbourne business since its launch in 2015. As Director, Melbourne, he leads the Finance function, overseeing Contract, Fixed Term, and Permanent recruitment with a focus on delivering tailored solutions for both clients and candidates.

With over 18 years of Finance recruitment experience across Melbourne and Amsterdam, Luke has developed a deep understanding of the market and a reputation for matching top talent with roles that support meaningful career progression. He is recognised for his attentive approach, consistently listening to client needs and ensuring candidates find opportunities that align with their long-term goals.

Outside of work, Luke’s passions revolve around his family and three sons, as well as travel and sports, reflecting the same energy and commitment he brings to his professional life.

Ceri leads the Healthcare Division at MARS, overseeing recruitment teams across Australia specialising in Allied Health, Nursing, Doctors, and Social Care.

Since joining MARS in 2017, Ceri has brought over 20 years of recruitment experience, having worked with global recruitment firms in the UK before spending the past 15 years building her expertise in the Australian market. She holds a Master’s degree in Law from Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield, UK.

Ceri is focused on developing high-performing teams that deliver exceptional outcomes for the healthcare sector. She has extensive experience managing large recruitment teams, navigating complex hiring processes, and personally recruiting for both public and private healthcare organisations nationwide.

Outside of work, Ceri is dedicated to her family and enjoys the lively company of her spirited Labradoodle, Ruby.

Ivor leads our Sydney business and comes with almost 20 years of experience in Executive Search and Recruitment across the UK and Australia. He oversees recruitment teams across Sales & Marketing, Digital, Technology, Insurance, Business Support, Accounting & Finance, Banking Operations and Audit, Risk & Compliance.

Ivor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and comes with broad sector experience having recruited across Financial Services, FMCG, Retail, Industrial, Education and Not-For-Profit with a particular focus in senior marketing, digital and sales placements. An Australian Institute of Marketing panel member and a regular contributor to industry publications.

What sets Ivor apart are his unwavering commitment to two core values: ‘doing the right thing’ and delivering an ‘exceptional customer experience’. These principles underpin every engagement, ensuring that each client and candidate enjoys a truly outstanding experience.

Zoya has been a driving force behind MARS since its inception, playing a central role in shaping the company over the past 16 years. A key member of the leadership team, she has been instrumental in building scalable operations, implementing cutting-edge technology, and refining business processes to support strategic growth.

Renowned for her ability to translate complex operational challenges into actionable solutions, Zoya balances efficiency, innovation, and scalability. Her expertise in operations management and problem-solving has been pivotal in supporting the Directors and ensuring the company’s long-term success.

Beyond processes, Zoya has cultivated a culture of excellence, ensuring that every operational decision strengthens MARS’ capacity to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients, candidates, and employees alike.

Outside the office, she is a dedicated mother who enjoys time with her daughter – when she’s not troubleshooting Marcus’ Teams call struggles!
