Join an innovative energy technology company that's moving from development into commercialisation. It operates nationally, is expanding internationally, and is growing fast. That means the finance function is being built as the business scales, and you'd be part of building it.

You'll report into a manager who is hands-on, generous with his knowledge, and really wants to see you develop grow. He'll give you real ownership from day one, and the support to back it up.

The role
This is a broad, hands-on role across:

• Reconciliations, fixed assets and payroll support
• Month-end and year-end close, management accounts and board reporting
• Budgets, forecasts, variance analysis and project-level reporting
• BAS, IAS, payroll tax and FBT, plus support for the external audit
• Building internal controls, documenting processes, and helping with system improvements and automation as the business grows

About you

• CA/CPA qualified
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Strong month end and hands on accounting
• Confident with an ERP and advanced Excel
• Sound knowledge of Australian tax and compliance
• Someone who'd rather build something than maintain it, and is comfortable with the pace of a growing business
