MARS Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant for an initial 3-month contract with an established organisation in the mining sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mining background who can hit the ground running and provide immediate support to a busy finance team.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
Partner with operational teams to provide commercial insights.
Analyse financial performance, costs and operational expenditure.
Assist with month-end reporting and process improvements.
Provide additional support to the wider finance team as required.
Previous mining industry experience is essential.
Proven experience as a Senior Management Accountant or Management Accountant.
Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting skills.
Excellent Excel and financial analysis capabilities.
CA/CPA qualified or equivalent experience.
Available immediately or at very short notice.
Initial 3-month contract.
Opportunity to work within the mining sector.
Immediate start.
$75.00 per hour rate (+ or - DOE)
