Accounts Payable Officer | Sydney CBD | $35-$45 p/hr + Super | Temporary Assignment

MARS Recruitment is partnering exclusively with an established business based in the Sydney CBD that is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team immediately on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on AP professional with strong end-to-end accounts payable experience who can hit the ground running and support a busy finance function.

The Role:

• End-to-end Accounts Payable processing
• High-volume invoice processing
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
• Preparing and processing payment runs
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate supplier and vendor records
• Assisting with month-end activities
• Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance team

About You

• Minimum 4+ years' Accounts Payable experience within the Australian market
• Strong end-to-end AP knowledge
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong Excel skills and exposure to accounting systems/ERPs
• Available to commence immediately or on short notice
• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or unrestricted working rights required.
