The Opportunity

Working closely with the finance function, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial records, supporting payroll-related accounting processes, and ensuring funds are accurately managed across multiple accounts.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing cash movements and account funding requirements
• Processing transfers between related entities and accounts
• Reconciling payroll data against banking transactions
• Maintaining payroll journals and ledger accuracy
• Performing regular balance sheet and payroll account reconciliations
• Supporting payroll approval processes through accurate reporting
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance and payroll workflows
• Assisting with general bookkeeping and month-end activities as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous bookkeeping experience within a medium to large organisation
• Strong reconciliation and account maintenance skills
• Experience processing and reviewing payroll-related accounting entries
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Confidence managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Experience using Xero
• Availability to commence immediately or at short notice
