MARS Recruitment are currently partnering with a nationally recognised business seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to support their payroll team on an initial 2-month contract.

Joining a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in delivering accurate end-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities and pay cycles, while supporting an ongoing payroll systems transition project.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls
• Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance across payroll tax, superannuation, leave, and statutory obligations
• Support reconciliations, reporting, and payroll audits
• Provide guidance and support within the payroll team
• Assist with payroll system processes and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

• Proven experience in a Senior Payroll Officer or similar payroll position
• Strong end-to-end payroll processing experience within medium to large organisations
• Previous exposure to SAP SuccessFactors is highly regarded
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
