MARS Recruitment are currently partnering with a well-established mining business to recruit a standalone Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced AP professional who enjoys taking ownership of the full function and working autonomously within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The Role
Reporting into Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, including:

• Full function accounts payable processing
• High-volume invoice processing and 3-way matching
• Supplier reconciliations and query resolution
• Managing payment runs
• Maintaining supplier relationships
• Supporting month-end processes
• Identifying and implementing process improvements

About You

• Proven experience in a standalone Accounts Payable role
• Previous exposure to the mining or mining services sector is highly regarded
• Strong experience using Pronto (essential)
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the AP function
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator who can engage with internal and external stakeholders
