MARS is partnering with a highly regarded Western Australian organisation undergoing a significant period of transformation and growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Category Manager to join a collaborative commercial team and play a key role in shaping procurement capability across the business.

Working closely with leadership and operational stakeholders, you will act as a trusted advisor, driving value through strategic sourcing, strong contract management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers variety, visibility, and the chance to make a genuine impact in a service-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead end-to-end source-to-contract activities across a broad range of categories
* Manage RFx processes including tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award
* Oversee post-award contract management including variations, claims, and performance management
* Analyse spend data to identify cost-saving and value optimisation opportunities
* Strengthen procurement governance, compliance, and process standardisation
* Partner with internal stakeholders to uplift procurement capability through workshops and guidance
* Build strong, trusted relationships and act as a commercial advisor across the organisation
* Contribute to broader transformation and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

You are an experienced procurement or category management professional who thrives in a business partnering environment. You enjoy working closely with stakeholders, influencing decisions, and driving commercial outcomes that balance cost, quality, and service delivery.

You will bring:

* Proven experience in end-to-end procurement and category management
* Strong capability across sourcing, tendering, evaluation, and contract development
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret spend and identify opportunities
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
