This is a permanent, full-time role based in Fitzroy, offering a salary of $65,000-$70,000 + super.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with a Senior Accountant, you'll receive hands-on training and mentorship while supporting the broader finance function.
Your responsibilities will include:
End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Assisting with fortnightly payment runs
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Preparing and posting journal entries
Coding expenses and processing revenue-related transactions
Updating bank transactions and receipting tenant payments
Managing transactions across multiple entities and cost centres
Handling multi-currency transactions
Maintaining spreadsheets and assisting with general accounting administration
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Ideally some experience in a similar accounts or finance role
Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and confidence learning new systems
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Australian full work rights are essential
