What you'll be doing:

Opportunity to join a global retail brand as a coordinator for a programme that supports and recognises accomplished women researchers, and encourages more women to enter the profession and to assist them as they progress their careers.

This role is a part-time contract which will be two days per week, and continue on for ten months.

As the Program Coordinator, you will and maintain the online application system, manage events, digest scientific communications and translate them to layman's terms, and monitoring the internal database.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

• Recently completed or currently completing a post-graduate science degree (within the hard sciences).
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills - able to work independently and effectively to meet deadlines, to manage ad-hoc projects that arise and ability to manage time in a flexible manner
• Excellent Excel and Word skills, happy to use a Content Management System for online applications from candidates
• Understanding of science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM), and a good understanding of Australia (and preferably New Zealand) academic research careers.
